What does Evolvetec do?
Evolvetec Inc. is a financial services company for small and mid-sized businesses. We help with financial planning and cash flow, card processing through partner processors, preparing for audits, understanding and arranging financing through lending partners, and financial analysis and reporting.
Is Evolvetec a bank or a lender?
No. Evolvetec Inc. is not a bank or direct lender and does not make credit decisions. Financing is subject to approval by third-party lenders, which set their own rates and terms.
Do you process card payments yourselves?
No. Payment processing is provided by third-party processors. We review your current processing, explain the fees, present options from partner processors and help with setup.
Are you a CPA firm? Can you perform our audit?
No. Evolvetec Inc. is not a CPA firm and does not perform audits or attestation work. We help you review and organize your books, records and controls before an audit, so the audit performed by your independent CPA or the requesting agency goes more smoothly.
Do you give investment or tax advice?
No. Our work is limited to business financial planning, payments, audit preparation, financing options and reporting for operating businesses. For tax questions, we recommend working with a licensed tax professional.
What does the first conversation involve?
A call of about 30 minutes, by phone or video. We ask about the business and what you need help with, and tell you plainly whether and how we can help. There is no obligation.
What will you need from me?
It depends on the service. Typically recent bank statements, your bookkeeping file or financial statements, and for card processing reviews, one or two recent processing statements. We send a specific list before any work starts.
Can you guarantee financing approval or lower processing fees?
No. Lenders and processors make their own decisions and set their own rates and terms. We help you understand your options and prepare well, but we do not guarantee any particular outcome.
How is my information handled?
Confidentially. We use your documents only to do the work you asked for, and share information with a lending partner or processor only when you ask us to. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Do I have to agree to text messages?
No. The SMS checkbox on our forms is optional and unchecked by default. You can contact us or work with us without it. If you do join the texting list, you can reply STOP at any time to opt out.
